After Your Stay
The day you and your baby arrive home is the day the fun and challenges begin.  Don’t try to be Super Woman and do it all alone. You’ve been through a lot these last nine months, both physically and mentally. Many people will want to help you—let them. Friends or family can do errands, grocery shopping, cooking, housework, yard work, childcare, or pet care. Now is the time to take care of yourself and your child. The extra help will make a big difference for you. By the way, if your newborn should need a longer hospital stay than you do, we will try to help you find a place to stay on our unit or nearby.
